Cardiff Metropolitan Student Safe Taxi Scheme

In order to make sure that Cardiff Met students can get home safely, a safe taxi scheme has been set up in partnership with the student union. This means that, if you are caught in a vulnerable situation, we can pick you up and take you to safety, even if you don’t have the cash on you.

You can use our student Safe Taxi Scheme by following these simple steps:

• Call us on 02920 333 333 and quote Cardiff Met SU Student Safe Taxi Scheme
• Provide your full name and Cardiff Met student ID number
• You will be sent a priority vehicle. Once it arrives, show the driver partner your ID card
• From there, you will be taken to your student residential address, halls of residence, a police station or a hospital.

Be mindful that this service is for emergencies only. The service is available 24 hours a day and has a maximum allowance of £20 and four students to travel. Cardiff Met SU will guarantee the payment for you, and you can settle up from there.
