Here are some useful tips to keep in mind if you regularly use taxi services around the city:

• Check to see if the vehicle is licensed by looking for yellow or white plates on the bumper. This should bear important information, such as their registration and council license number.
• Always use a reputable taxi or private hire company. If the vehicle doesn’t bear the company’s logo, be very cautious.
• Driver partners operating at a taxi rank are doing so independently, meaning that, even if they are in a company vehicle, the driver wouldn’t be identifiable if a problem occurred.
• If you have a made booking via the Dragon Taxis app, check the vehicle details against those provided to you when your vehicle was dispatched. This will include the vehicle make, model and number plate.
